The new RealPlayer’s most important new function is the ability to download videos from across the web, and the capability to do this with multiple videos simultaneously, regardless of the videos’ format. Fun, right? A new download button will appear once you’ve begun to play your videos with RealPlayer, and as along as the video is DRM-free, you’ll be able to save the video for later viewing.. This latest release also makes it easier to search and share videos, and burn them to a disc.
RealPlayer has indicated that future versions will include the ability to transfer online video to iPods and other devices, and a Mac version as well as foreign language versions will be available later on this year.
