Kroup is a new social knowledge sharing platform for higher education that aims to improve online knowledge sharing in higher education.
On Kroupys students can share knowledge with each other independent from their University. This gives students the opportunity to share knowledge about specific topics within their discipline on a regional, national and international level.
Easy To Use:
Kroupys is based on questions and answers.Users are able to link their questions to specific topics, or so-called ‘Tags’.
By following these Tags users can create interest-groups and discover new questions.
Within these interest-groups users can earn points by asking questions and by sharing ‘useful’ answers. Other users determine the usefulness of answers by clicking the ‘useful-button’.
Every Tag presents a scoreboard that displays the users who earned the most points. The users with the most points become ‘Tag-leaders’ and are considered to be the experts within a specific Tag.
