Each and every women in world face such type of abusive comments on streets everyday. But it is rarely reported, and it’s culturally accepted as ‘the price you pay’ for being a woman.
Do you know as many as 25% of women are sexually assaulted before the age of 18. For them, street harassment can feel like ripping off a scab. Rather than deliberating the “gray areas” of street harassment, treat everyone you encounter with respect.

Hollaback is such type of apps.It aims to raise voice for any street harrrasment.By collecting women stories and pictures in a safe and share-able way with theirr very own mobile phone applications, Hollaback! is creating a crowd-sourced initiative to end street harassment.
Hollaback! is a collective comprised of men and women who believe in building communities where everyone feels comfortable, safe, and respected.
Easy To Use:
If you want to hollaback on the go from your cell phone, type the email address ‘holla@ihollaback.org’ in the field where the number usually goes. Tell them where you are, attach a photo if you like, and your text will go straight to their email. From there, they’ll post it. Don’t have a cell phone? You can still tell them your story on-line.
