Flicker’s new face based search

Search by face or photo:

Flicker is coming out with a new feature which will help its users to search those people whom we may know. It would be quite interesting because its face based search. So,now you would be able to know or find someone by their face even if you forget his name or address. Its new feature named “People You May Know”.It would help you to find and connect with even more members of the Flickr community

Simple To Use:

You can add contacts from the Find Your Friends page or right from the new module on your Flickr homepage. You can also designate them as a friend, family or contact right from the modules. If you need even more suggestions, just dismiss the ones that aren’t interesting to you and theye’ll come up with some new ones!

If there is someone whose face you don’t want popping up every time just click the X on the right of the suggestion and they won’t show up again.

Hide your profile:

If you don’t want to be suggested to people, just use the “Hide your profile from public searches” setting. So if you already choose to have your profile hidden from searches, it would not show in this feature either.
