Block all ads that are linked to your competitor’s site

Do you know Google adsense can block specific ads from appearing on your pages or websites which is not useful for your site?It can block all ads that are linked to your competitor’s site.
Google’s new competitive ad filter is made for blocking those ads that link to specific URLs which is not useful for your websites.
By using its new ad filter you can easily block all ads that are linked to your competitor’s site.
What you have to do first is just enter a competitors domain name and you can filter all ads which is linking towards them. You can also block all ads that link to subdirectories below that domain name.
Steps To Follow:
Step-1:
First step is, just open your adsense a/c.
Step-2:
Now go to adsense setup tab and click on it.
Step-3:
After doing this you will see Competitive Ad Filter link. It will show you the URLs which are already getting filtered for your account.
Step-4:
If you have not used filter since you opend your adsense a/c then you will see empty box overthere. Now just select the product sub-tab and Add / Edit Sites.
Step-5:
Now just copy the URL from the ad into your filter list. Dont worry if you did not find the exact ad url which you want to filter.Use simple trick.
Trick to block ad urls:
For blocking ad you need to enter either the display URL or the destination URL into your filter.
What Is Display URL:
The display URL is the URL shown within the text of the ad.
If you did not find a display URL then use the destination URL of the ad in order to properly filter it.
Destination URL :
There are two methods of getting the destination URL of an ad: the AdSense Preview Tool, and viewing the link Properties. Mostly adsense preview tool is being used.So I”ll discuss that one only.
The AdSense Preview Tool is to help you view the ads that would appear on your page, and to display the destination URLs of these ads with only a few clicks.
Now find destination URLs: in Google ad sense preview tool:Now you must be thinking how to open google adsense preview tool.Well,for opening the preview tool, just right-click on any webpage from the menu that appears then select Google AdSense Preview Tool . The preview tool will open in a new window, and will display a sample set of ads for that page.
Step-6:
Open google adsense preview tool menu amd choose ad that you’d like to block from your pages and click at show selected URLs. The destination URL of the selected ads will appear.
Now just copy and paste the URLs into the competitive ad filter text box in your AdSense publisher account and click Save Changes
Step-7:
Now you can save changes to add these sites to your competitive ad filter.
