TheAutoLog.com provides a free online system for tracking and recording vehicle maintenance information. TheAutoLog allows its members to easily organize repairs and maintenance that have been done to their vehicles. TheAutoLog keeps a shareable, customizable, personalized profile that can display photos, general information and maintenance records of a particular vehicle.
How It Works:
1.You’ll need to Log-in. Go to ‘Maintenance Records’ and select “Upload maintenance record” for the vehicle of your choice. Your invoice must be stored on you computer and be of type .jpg, .gif or .png. Your invoice file can not be larger than 200KB. You can reduce the size of your invoice file by using a program such as MS Paint
2.To make your vehicle profile private (only viewable by you): Log-in and click on: “Customize Profile”. Next, choose the desired vehicle and click on “Profile Settings”. Simply change “Profile mode: Viewable” to “Profile mode: Private”. Press “Save Changes.”
3.Your maintenance records are defaulted to ‘Private Mode’ – only you can view them. If you want others to be able to view your maintenance history (ie. a repair shop), Log-in and go to ‘Maintenance Records’ and click on “Maintenance Settings”. You’ll now see an option to make your maintenance records public.
4.You must be logged into TheAutoLog. To vote for a paticular vehicle, simply go to that vehicle’s profile and under the main photo click on: ‘Vote’.
